Noir in real life. Rob Pierce molds a perfectly imperfect character. He's flawed, at times mean, but in the long run you see he's trying to be the best man he can be. Uncle Dust is a strangely lyrical look at the edge of polite society and the people who live and play there. Bad can be good.

Selena is a reckless, chaotic girl following her own path, living in the seedy, shadowy streets. When she crosses the wrong people her life takes a spiral. Soon, Selena develops a thirst for vengeance. Greg Barth writes with a knife like edge, perfectly detailing Selena's dark, haunted past. A fast, crazy read. Favorite scene: Selena learns to shoot.
